2015. October to December.
The close of the recap of the year. October had more running with the lady, up in the pre-Pyrenees clambering over rocks and scree and epic views in blazing sunshine. Warm Autumnal rides, with early starts on and off road, in and around Barcelona, helping my long haul cycle traveller Doug with his camera phone App as he rolled through from Edinburgh to Morocco. Then a trip down to Andalusia (we drove, Doug rode!) for some beach running and finally I rode up to Pico de La Veleta. From the coast. Some 115km of climbing up to over 3,300m, through some amazing countryside and villages. I touched the tyres in the sea, then touched them in the snow line whence I cold go no further. November I started on the latest project with Christian and La Fabrica. Only a few shots of this as the project will be launched later in 2016 so it's under wraps a top secret! December, a quick trip to London to see Nick to pin down the details for Sommet Cycling including a meeting with Bowman Bikes, Velohouse Cafe and Giro cafe and a few friends up in the city of London. Work on a project for Volata magazine here and in the UK and a last gravel ride of the year to notch up 13,000km for the year on the bike before hanging it up and heading to Yorkshire for Christmas. Yorkshire was all about family, which included running with the girl and my Pa. A local club 'race' - a man vs bike bit of fun - which I will write more about here separately as it was such a good social event. A cracking year. Thanks to all; those in shots and those who were out of frame but firmly in my year. See you all soon I hope.
